I am learning to know the different parts of a sentence.

"A full stop means you have finished your sentence."

I am learning to write the word ‘like’ in my story. I am learning to find new words in and around our classroom. I am proud of my story writing.

The next step for me might be to add more detail in my sentence.

I am learning to write my numbers.

"I can write lots of numbers"

Room 7 is having a fun time learning to swim in term 1.
Our swimming days are on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

We are learning to get dressed and undressed by ourselves

and enter and exit the pool safely.

"I can splash water on my face."

Elm Park School had a Book Character Parade on Friday.

Room 7 dressed up as a character from their favourite book.

Don't we look great!

We went to Ambury Farm. We learn't about the animals that live on the farm, where milk and wool comes from and how to feed the animals.

My favourite thing was:

"I liked the sheep."

I am learning to write a sentence independently.

In Room 7 I am learning to write independently.

We have special things in our class such as our yellow cards to help us

find the letters and some words we want to write.

"I can use the card to find a word."
